Paediatric First Aid Course
The 12 hour Care For Children course has been structured specifically to meet the needs of Child Care Providers and meets the requirements of OFSTED / Surestart.
The course is split over 2 days with 6 hours each day, it can be run during the week or weekends.
Day 1
Registration, Introductions, Course Overview, Knowledge Development, Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, One Rescuer CPR – Child and Infant and Conscious Choking – Child and Infant
Day 2
CPR Skill Review, Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Injury Assessment, Illness Assessment, First Aid Kits, Childhood Illnesses, Scenarios, Final Exam and Closing
The cost of the course is £65 with a minimum of 4 people
